On July 14, 2008, British designer Alfred Dunhill opened its new 7,000 square-foot flagship boutique, located on Madison Avenue in New York. The London-based brand features its renowned leather goods, menswear, and jewelry collections. On the lower level, the distinctive store contains their own atelier, housing the company’s bespoke operation and archival novelties and sketches done for clients past, including Frank Sinatra and Truman Capote. The inviting interior combines elements reminiscent of the industrial revolution with supple leather seating, gleaming hardwood floors, and British-eclectic details to achieve the masculine, yet undoubtedly refined look of Dunhill.
