Marc Ecko's clothing line, Cut & Sew, caters to the young and trendy. The line updated its streetwear look by pairing the signature graffiti-inspired graphic tees with more structured, mature pieces. The design of the space accomplishes just that. The store was furnished in refined woods, detailed moldings, and comfortable seating vignettes, incorporated with raw elements, wrought iron and exposed brick walls. Also thrown in the mix are irreverent nods to the club scene, a chandelier made of beer bottles, and found objects, like a mini army tank and an antique gas mask. These details come together to elevate Marc Ecko's street style, while still retaining reminders from its youthful base. The store opened in New York's trendy Chelsea neighborhood in 2008.
